We\u2019ve decided to highlight some of our amazing clients and their big wins from this year. Helping them excel using customer feedback is what we\u2019re all about. So here are some highlights from 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Posts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gathering feedback is one thing. What really counts though is <strong>acting on it<\/strong>. That means using the feedback to actually make changes. That\u2019s usually a multi-step process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collecting feedback<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicating with users, clarifying and getting more information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prioritizing feature requests<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adding winning ideas to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/product-roadmapping-software-saas-businesses\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">roadmap<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing those features<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introducing them via the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/should-you-use-a-changelog-tool\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">changelog<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll go over each step later in the article, but here\u2019s the <strong>main thing<\/strong>: you need to close that feedback loop. Why? Because otherwise customers won\u2019t bother to leave feedback for you anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In contrast, when you have a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/canny-changelog\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tool<\/a> that helps you connect all the dots and keep your customers up to date, closing that feedback loop is that much easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s exactly what our clients did this year. We saw a total of <strong>49,041 completed posts<\/strong> this year! But what\u2019s the best way to prioritize them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Long gone are the days of confusing spreadsheets. Forget scrolling through endless Slack messages and emails. Use a centralized tool and save so much time and unnecessary effort. You can also easily quantify those feature requests with a tool like Canny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s what companies like ahrefs, ClickUp and others did in 2022. And, across them all, we saw <strong>2,907,459 votes<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-votes-1.avif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3931\" srcset=\"https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-votes-1.avif 1920w, https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-votes-1-768x432.avif 768w, https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-votes-1-1536x864.avif 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Giving this power back to the people is highly beneficial You can see what people really want and need. Maybe they haven\u2019t thought of an idea themselves, but they liked someone else\u2019s. If they can upvote it, it\u2019ll be super clear that you should pay attention to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sometimes it\u2019s best to clarify something before building a feature. What if you misunderstood and built the wrong thing? Whoops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you have a direct line of communication with your users, you can always reach out and get more information. Keeping all context in one single thread, under the original post makes, it really easy for the product team. This way, you\u2019ll minimize errors and make the process that much smoother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The numbers speak for themselves. In 2022 there were <strong>700,381 comments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-comments.avif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3932\" srcset=\"https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-comments.avif 1920w, https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-comments-768x432.avif 768w, https:\/\/canny.io\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/canny-wrapped-comments-1536x864.avif 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changelog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you\u2019ve got feedback and prioritized it (thanks to votes, comments and your own unique prioritization criteria), it\u2019s time to get to work. You can use a roadmap to manage your workload and keep your customers up to date on the progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you\u2019re ready to ship, don\u2019t forget to celebrate all your hard work! Also, make sure you let your customers know about your updates. If they recommended an idea, they\u2019re likely investment and want to see it through. After all, users love products that are always updated, refreshed and improved. In particular, our Zendesk and Intercom integrations have helped many teams save time this year.
